LPA is our transformational HBCU college tour experience. Students visit historically Black colleges and universities, sit with admissions officers, walk the campuses, and leave with a real, documented post-secondary plan. For many of our students, this is the first time they've seen themselves on a college campus. That moment changes everything.
Who This Is For
High school students in grades 9 through 12, with priority given to juniors and seniors actively planning their next step. We're looking for students who are curious about HBCU life and ready to do the work: currently enrolled, in good academic standing, and excited to represent kNOw Limits Foundation on the road.
What The Program Includes
- 10 Saturday in-person sessions covering HBCU history and culture, the college application process, financial aid and scholarship navigation, career exploration, and leadership development
- A 7-day, 6-night HBCU and cultural tour through the Southeast, visiting six campuses: Jackson State University, Tuskegee University, Alabama State University, Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, and Spelman College
- Campus visit simulations and student panel discussions to prepare for the real thing
- Breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided at every session
- Chaperoned travel with Foundation staff and parent volunteers

Cost Shouldn't Be the Reason a Student Stays Home
LPA runs on a 30/40/30 scholarship model: roughly a third of students pay in full, a third receive a partial scholarship, and a third attend on a full scholarship. No qualified student is turned away for financial reasons. Ask us about scholarship support when you express interest.
