Future Ready Workshops — Real Skills for Real Futures
Free weekly workshops for Phoenix-area students in grades 9–12 — built to help you figure out your path and take the first steps.
Thursday evenings, students show up to a workshop built for exactly where they are. 9th graders start by discovering their strengths. 12th graders finish their FAFSA. In between, each grade gets tools they can use right away. No lectures. No filler. Just real steps toward college, career, and life after high school.

Future Ready Workshops meet Thursday evenings from 5:00–6:30 PM at the Future Ready Center inside 2:Ten Church in Phoenix. Because every grade has different goals, programming is grade-specific — so you work alongside students at the same grade level. In addition to weekly sessions, the season includes a kickoff fair, a college fair, a spring showcase, and a dedicated week each fall for seniors working on FAFSA and scholarships.

Whether you are a freshman or a senior, your workshops match exactly where you are right now. Each grade has its own focus and its own set of goals. Furthermore, every workshop ends with something you can keep — a portfolio entry, a resume draft, a scholarship application, or a finished FAFSA.

Sophomores turn early ideas into a real direction. You write your first resume, learn how paychecks and banking work, and find out how to qualify for a paid internship.

Get Application-Ready
Juniors build everything needed to apply — for internships and for college. As a result, you leave with a resume, a cover letter, a LinkedIn profile, and a college research plan.

Finish the Job

High school students in grades 9–12, Phoenix area. No cost to participate. Families and school counselors are welcome to refer students directly.

Future Ready Workshops kick off with the Bite of Reality Fair on Saturday, October 3 — a free, hands-on financial literacy event and the official start of the season. Weekly Thursday workshops begin the following week.
Register now to save your spot. Students can sign up on their own, or a counselor or school staff member can submit a group registration for multiple students at once.
