Adultin’ Ain’t Easy, But We Got You is a college, career, and financial readiness experience for up to 75 juniors and seniors from public and charter schools in South Phoenix, Laveen, and surrounding communities.
Students complete a 90-minute financial reality simulation, learn banking etiquette and Financial Aid 101, and connect directly with higher education, financial, and community partners who can support their next steps. The experience is an entry point to kNOw Limits Foundation’s Future Ready Workshops for continued guidance, resources, and connections that help students turn plans into action.
What Students Will Experience
- Financial reality simulation: manage real-world expenses and make tough money decisions
- Banking etiquette session: what to know before you walk into a bank or credit union
- Financial Aid 101: FAFSA, scholarships, and navigating college costs
- Connections with higher education, financial, and community partners
- Lunch provided
